Of the tools we checked, seven submit job applications for you instead of only filling in the form: Dreamwork, Jobright, Jobscan, LazyApply, LoopCV, Monster (ExpertApply), and Simplify (Autopilot, on Simplify+). Pick by what you want sent: LazyApply for volume, LoopCV for auto-apply across many boards on a free plan, Jobscan to approve every application, Jobright for referral leads, and Dreamwork for a resume and cover letter written for each tech role, sent with your approval or on Autopilot.
We make Dreamwork, and it's on this list. Everything about the other tools comes from their own websites, on the date shown under each one, with links. They're listed alphabetically, not ranked.
How we judged them
The same five questions for every tool, Dreamwork included
Does it submit, or only fill in the form?
Autofill that leaves the submit button to you isn't auto-apply. Those tools are listed separately below.
Can you see each application before it goes?
And is that the default, or a mode you have to choose?
Is each application written for the job?
A resume, and ideally a cover letter, per role, or one stored resume sent everywhere.
How much does it send, and what does it cost?
Daily or monthly limits, a free plan, and the price of the paid one.

Pick Dreamwork if
You want a separate resume and cover letter written for each role.
You want to see each application before it goes, or let Autopilot send only above a match score you set.
You want to run the search and the applying from Claude or another MCP client.
Skip Dreamwork if
You want hundreds of applications a day. Autopilot sends up to 50 a month on Pro and 300 on Dreamer.
You're searching hourly, local, retail, or non-tech roles.
You want referral leads, LinkedIn polish, or interview prep. We don't do those.
You want applications sent for free. On the free plan you apply on the employer's site yourself.
It depends on what you want sent. LazyApply's agent submits in bulk, 15 to 1,500 applications a day depending on the plan. Jobscan's Auto Apply sends nothing without your approval. Simplify+ Autopilot applies with no review step. Dreamwork writes a separate resume and cover letter for each role and lets you approve each one or turn on Autopilot. We make Dreamwork, so check each tool's own pages, linked on this page.
What's the difference between auto-apply and autofill?
Autofill fills in an application form and leaves submitting to you; Simplify's free Copilot, Careerflow, Huntr, and Built In's assistant work this way. Auto-apply submits the application for you, after you approve it or on its own.
Which auto-apply tools let you review each application first?
Jobscan's Auto Apply submits nothing without your approval, LoopCV has a One-Click Apply mode for reviewing first, and Dreamwork's one-tap apply shows you each application before it goes. Simplify+ Autopilot has no review step, and neither does Dreamwork's Autopilot, which stays off until you turn it on.
Are there free AI auto-apply tools?
LoopCV has a free plan, with paid plans from €9.99 a month. Simplify's Copilot autofill is free, and Autopilot is on Simplify+. Jobright is free to start, and its paid prices aren't on its product pages. LazyApply has no free trial and bills yearly from $99. Dreamwork's free plan gives you unlimited matches and 5 saved jobs a day, each with a tailored resume and cover letter, and you apply on the employer's site yourself.
Which auto-apply tools work with Claude or other AI assistants?
Dreamwork publishes an MCP server, so Claude or any MCP client can search roles, build application packs, and apply, with your confirmation before each send. LoopCV's MCP server is in beta behind a waitlist. Simplify says it publishes no MCP server or API, and we found none on the sites of Jobright, Jobscan, LazyApply, or Monster.
Is an AI job search agent the same as an auto-apply tool?
Not quite. An auto-apply tool sends applications; an AI job search agent also finds and ranks the roles worth sending them to. Jobright's agent and Dreamwork match roles to you before applying, and Monster's ExpertApply has AI find matching jobs. LazyApply applies by the criteria you set.
