AIApply auto-applies too. Here's where we differ.
AIApply pairs an Auto Apply agent, which runs in Auto, Hybrid, or Review mode, with a resume builder, cover letters, mock interviews, and a live interview assistant, and it connects to Claude and ChatGPT over MCP, as we do. So here's the honest comparison. Dreamwork ranks live tech roles to your resume, writes a resume and cover letter for every role on every plan, and lets you see each application before it goes or turn on Autopilot.
AIApply sells an Auto Apply agent (Auto, Hybrid, or Review mode, from $49 a month for 100 applications) beside resume, cover-letter, and interview tools; tailored resumes and cover letters are $12-a-month add-ons. Dreamwork ranks live tech roles to your resume and tailors every application on every plan. Both connect to AI assistants over MCP.

Dreamwork vs AIApply: FAQ
Is Dreamwork a better alternative to AIApply?
For tailored applying, we'd say yes, and here's the fair version. Both auto-apply, and both connect to AI assistants over MCP. AIApply bundles interview tools we don't have and charges $12 a month each for tailored resumes and cover letters. We write both for every role on every plan and rank live tech roles to your resume.
Does AIApply apply for you?
Yes. Its Auto Apply agent runs in Auto mode (no input from you), Hybrid mode (sends jobs with a fit score of 75 or higher and holds the rest), or Review mode (you approve every job). Its help center says tailored resumes have no pre-send approval step; you can see what was sent afterward.
How is Dreamwork's Autopilot different?
Ours applies only to matches above your minimum match score, up to 50 a month on Pro and 300 on Dreamer, with a resume and cover letter written for each role. With one-tap apply you see the whole application, documents included, before Dreamwork sends it.
Can I connect AIApply or Dreamwork to Claude?
Both, yes. AIApply's connector reads by default and can apply once you give it permission. Dreamwork's MCP server can search roles, build application packs, and apply, and it waits for your confirmation before each send.
Is Dreamwork free?
Free to start. The free plan gives you unlimited matches and 5 saved jobs a day, each with a tailored resume and cover letter, and you apply on the employer's site yourself. Having Dreamwork send applications for you is on the paid plans. AIApply has no free trial; its free tier covers two mock interviews, the job board, saved jobs, and a few cover letters, and Auto Apply starts at $49 a month.
