Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join the expanding platform engineering team in pune. This role focuses on architecting, maintaining, and scaling continuous integration and deployment pipelines to support mission-critical infrastructure and application delivery. The ideal candidate will possess deep, administrative-level expertise in Git and Jenkins, paired with strong coding proficiency in Python and Shell to drive comprehensive workflow automation and support ongoing cloud suite operations.

Key Responsibilities

• CI/CD Pipeline Architecture: Design, build, and optimize complex Jenkins pipelines from scratch, leveraging advanced features (e.g., Jenkins Shared Libraries) to standardize enterprise build and release processes.
  
• Version Control Management: Administer Git workflows, enforce optimal branching and merging strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based development), and resolve complex merge conflicts for distributed engineering teams.
  
• Workflow Automation: Develop, test, and maintain robust, production-grade automation scripts using Python and Shell to eliminate manual operational tasks and streamline deployment workflows.
  
• Platform Integration: Collaborate closely with development and infrastructure teams to integrate CI/CD processes with cloud platforms, monitoring tools, and metadata enrichment pipelines.
  
• Performance & Reliability: Proactively identify pipeline bottlenecks, troubleshoot build failures, and implement monitoring to ensure high availability and rapid execution of deployment cycles.
