As of November 4, 2026, Dreamwork's tech hiring index lists 801,843 eligible roles at 43,678 employers. 64,312 of them (8.0%) are flagged as AI roles. 223,887 of those roles were first posted or first seen in the previous 7 days. 19,091 employers had more open roles at the end of that week than at the start, and 24,141 had fewer. These are roles Dreamwork indexes from employer career sites and supported hiring platforms, not a count of every job in the labor market.

Eligible roles is the count every table on this page uses unless it says otherwise. An eligible role is still active, canonical, usable, within its stated validity window, and recently seen at its source. Roles leave the count when they close, expire, go stale, or are consolidated as duplicates.
Active jobs is every listing marked active in Dreamwork, including listings still being processed or de-duplicated, so it runs higher than eligible roles. Jobs indexed is cumulative coverage: every job record Dreamwork has discovered, open or not.
Employer counts are employers in the Research company index with at least one eligible role. The 7-day movement compares each employer's eligible roles with a week earlier. Full definitions are in the methodology.
This page reads the index at most every 15 minutes. The snapshot behind it is recomputed twice a day, and the time printed at the top is when it was taken.
