About the role

We are seeking two to three reliable, professional and well-presented Casual Security Officers to join our team at a historic 148-year-old multi-purpose event and lifestyle precinct. The precinct hosts a diverse range of events and activities throughout the year. This role is suited to security professionals who enjoy working in busy public environments, engaging respectfully with patrons and helping create a safe and welcoming experience for everyone.

Key responsibilities

• Engage respectfully with patrons and help create a safe and welcoming experience for everyone

• Work in busy, high-volume event environments

• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patrons, staff and stakeholders

• Remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations

• Work as part of a team

• Deliver a high standard of service and security

About you

• Hold a current Queensland Security Provider licence with the Unarmed Security Guard and Crowd Controller subclass

• Hold a current Blue Card

• Hold a valid RSA

• Hold a valid QLD driver licence

• Be well presented and professional

• Have a positive attitude and good work ethic

• Be reliable, punctual and dependable

• Be physically capable of walking and standing for extended periods

• Demonstrate the right attitude, reliability and professional approach
