GRIT is hiring on behalf of our client in the AEC sector for a skilled Machine Learning Engineer with strong Python expertise and experience delivering within larger, cross-functional teams. In this role, you’ll play a key part in designing, developing, and deploying ML models and AI-driven solutions on Azure, collaborating closely with BAs, developers, and data professionals to support innovation across the built environment.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models into production environments
- Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to transform prototypes into scalable solutions
- Enhance MLOps pipelines and ensure performance, reliability, and accuracy
- Leverage Azure ML, AI Search, OpenAI and cloud-based data services
- Monitor, update and maintain ML models to ensure optimal performance
- 1+ year of commercial experience in machine learning and Python
- Solid grasp of tools like scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, Plotly
- Experience working in production environments with Git and cloud (Azure preferred)
- Proficiency in Python (using VSCode or PyCharm)
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
- A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related field
- Azure ML experience or certification highly desirable
- Knowledge of MLOps (MLFlow, Optuna), REST APIs (FastAPI, Flask), and Linux
- Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Familiarity with 3D geometry or IFC/IfcOpenShell
