About the role
We are seeking a Site Concrete Engineer to support the planning, coordination and delivery of our concrete works. Working closely with project managers, site supervisors, crews and client representatives, you will help ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
Key responsibilities
Review project drawings and specifications, resolve technical queries and coordinate pre-pour inspections to verify compliance with approved documentation.
Monitor concrete works from delivery through to curing to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.
Maintain quality and progress documentation, including inspection and test plans, pour records, site reports, photographs and RFIs.
Track progress and document delays and variations to support accurate payment claims and variation submissions.
Support site safety planning, risk assessments, safe work method statements and equipment onboarding, verifying equipment compliance before use.
Assist with defect inspections, corrective works and project handover documentation.
About you
A construction-related degree or relevant practical experience will be highly regarded, ideally with some site engineering experience in concrete construction.
Understanding of concrete construction, reinforcement, formwork and quality assurance, with the ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, with a practical, proactive approach to working with site crews and project stakeholders.
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and relevant engineering and project documentation software.
Construction White Card and a current driver’s licence.
