Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance Engineer
Location: India, Japan, Taiwan
About the role
An entry-level role maintaining semiconductor manufacturing equipment. No semiconductor background is needed, and full training is provided. You’ll learn progressively under senior engineers, with training tailored to each equipment type.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and commission semiconductor manufacturing equipment
- Carry out equipment-specific maintenance
- Attend customer site activities and return to your assigned base afterwards
- Travel overseas for on-the-job training after initial training
Salary: 24.12 lakh to 30.15 lakh INR annually (approx.)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or final year) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Ability to communicate in English and Taiwanese
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally
- Freshers welcome; no prior experience or semiconductor knowledge needed
Career path
- Month 1: initial training in Sendai, Japan
- Afterwards: overseas OJT travel
- After one year: transfer to Taiwan, in a Taiwan-based role with overseas business trips
