WE'RE HIRING – TRUCK DRIVER
AITKEN JOINERY 

Aitken Joinery is looking for a reliable, safety-focused Truck Driver to join our team, based from our Gore Factory, you will be looking to  transport our Vantage windows and doors from our factory to building sites throughout the region of Southland, Otago and Central Otago.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their driving and understands the importance of getting our product to site safely, securely, and efficiently.

THE ROLE

• Transporting Vantage windows and doors from our factory to building sites

• Ensuring all products are loaded, secured, and transported safely

• Planning and completing runs efficiently and on schedule

• Taking care to ensure our joinery arrives on site in excellent condition

• Coordinating with site personnel to ensure smooth unloading and sign-off

• Completing the required paperwork and vehicle checks

• Maintaining high standards of road safety and vehicle care

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum Class 4 New Zealand driver's licence (This is a non-negotiable)

• Heavy vehicle driving experience

• Knowledge of load restraint and safe transport practices

• A strong focus on safety, reliability, and efficiency

• Good communication and time-management skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A professional attitude and pride in doing the job right

You'll understand that getting our Vantage windows and doors to site in perfect condition is a critical part of our operation. We're after someone dependable, organized, and committed to delivering a high standard of service every time.
