We're looking for a hands-on Hotel Maintenance Technician who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly. From troubleshooting a guest room repair to keeping shared spaces in great shape, your work helps create comfortable stays and keeps our hotel ready to welcome guests. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Respond to maintenance requests with friendly, efficient service
- Troubleshoot and complete routine plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs within your training and qualifications
- Handle painting, patching, furniture repairs, and other upkeep throughout the hotel
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure guest rooms are functional, equipment last longer, and unexpected breakdowns are avoided.
- Inspect guest rooms, public spaces, and equipment for maintenance and safety needs
- Keep tools, supplies, and work areas organized
- Communicate repair updates and report issues that need additional support
- Work with housekeeping, front desk, and other departments to get rooms guest-ready
Qualifications
YOU'LL FIT RIGHT IN IF YOU...
- Have a working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building systems, with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Operate hand and power tools proficiently and follow established safety procedures
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, close attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Maintain a professional, positive demeanor when working with guests, team members, and outside partners
- Prioritize work orders effectively, manage your time well, and see repairs through to completion
- Are comfortable coordinating with vendors and contractors on service calls, repairs, and projects
- Are available to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and to take on-call shifts as needed
- Have previous hotel, apartment, or building maintenance experience (preferred)
