Help a talented team make a difference across Southland. As Active Lifestyles Team Lead, you’ll lead and support the delivery of Green Prescription, Active Families and Tōku Oranga services, enabling your people to provide support that increases physical activity, healthy eating and wellbeing.

You’ll create the conditions for your team to succeed through clear expectations, planning, coaching, mentoring and timely feedback. Alongside managing workloads, referrals, administration, resources and reporting, you’ll strengthen relationships with General Practice teams, Primary Health Organisations, health providers, community organisations and workplaces.

We’re looking for an inclusive, community-focused leader who builds trust, values people’s strengths, communicates confidently and can turn ideas into practical improvements. Leadership or management experience, particularly in health, is highly desirable, and a relevant tertiary qualification is preferred.
