About the Role

Join a well-established structural and civil engineering consultancy with an excellent reputation for delivering innovative engineering solutions across Victoria. Based in South Melbourne, you'll work on a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial projects, partnering with architects, builders and developers to deliver technically challenging and design-focused outcomes.
This is an ideal opportunity for a Structural Engineer with around 5–7 years’ experience, including basement and reinforced concrete piling design, looking to take ownership of projects while continuing to develop their technical expertise within a collaborative and supportive team

Duties

• Design and deliver structural engineering solutions across residential and commercial projects.
• Prepare structural calculations, documentation and technical reports.
• Produce and review drafting using AutoCAD. This will only be initially and then we will hire a dedicated drafter. 
• Design complex basement structures, reinforced concrete piling and two-way suspended slab systems.
• Liaise with architects, builders, developers and other consultants.
