Healthcare United is seeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine Physician for a full-time opportunity in the Wethersfield Area, Connecticut.
Practice outpatient Internal Medicine while helping residents develop clinical judgment and continuity-of-care skills.
Overview
- Specialty: Internal Medicine
- Location: Wethersfield Area, Connecticut
- Practice Setting: Outpatient academic practice with periodic inpatient coverage
- Work Schedule: Eight clinic half-days weekly plus academic time; approximately five inpatient weekends per year.
- Call / Coverage: Infrequent call
- Support Staff / Resources: Approximately two to three clinical support staff per physician; Behavioral Health, nurse care management, and Social Work
- EMR: Epic, Dragon, secure messaging, and patient portal
What You Can Expect
- Provide eight half-days of clinic weekly with additional protected academic time.
- Contribute to curriculum, quality improvement, population health, and scholarly activity.
- Provide inpatient coverage on approximately five weekends annually; this hospital rotation is separate from infrequent call.

Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
- Connecticut medical license or eligibility
