Duties & Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:
Group Reporting & Management Accounts
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts
- Support group reporting processes, including consolidation inputs and variance analysis
- Ensure accurate reconciliations and timely reporting across multiple entities
- Investigate and explain key financial movements and business performance trends
- Oversee payment processes to ensure accuracy, governance, and compliance
- Monitor and report on cash flow positions across the group
- Identify potential cash flow risks and funding requirements
- Maintain and strengthen financial controls and approval processes
- Assist with the annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Consolidate financial information and evaluate budget submissions
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights into business performance
- Support scenario planning and cash flow forecasting initiatives
- Prepare financial reports, presentations, and board packs
- Translate complex financial information into meaningful commercial insights
- Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and reporting
- Assist with ad hoc projects and executive-level reporting requirements
- 5 years' post-articles experience
- Experience within audit, group finance, head office finance, commercial finance, or multi-entity environments
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and reporting skills
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis capabilities
- Exposure to management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and group reporting
- Ability to present financial information clearly to senior stakeholders
- Commercially minded with a strong analytical and problem-solving approach
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
- Registered CA(SA)
