About the role

We wish to appoint a Structural Engineer to our Newcastle office. The successful candidate will work on various projects including project and high-end residential homes and communities, industrial complexes, apartment towers, service stations, club buildings and childcare centres.

As a Engineer your responsibilities will include:

Engineer design calculations
Preparing sketches for draftsmen to CAD
Completing design mark ups
Site inspections
Liaising with Customers & Stakeholders

Essential Criteria:

A Bachelor’s Degree in civil & structural engineering.
3-5 + years of post-graduate professional experience as a Structural Engineer, ideally from a consultancy/design background
A demonstrated interest in residential construction
Sound knowledge of relevant design codes & design manuals
Excellent computer skills including computer analysis of 3-D structures
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Current driver’s license
A white card
Knowledge of WHS requirements
Permanent/full working rights in Australia
