Auckland City Toyota Grey Lynn is looking for a driven, enthusiastic Used Vehicle Sales Consultant to join our successful sales team.

About the Role
Reporting to the Used Vehicle Manager, you'll join an experienced and supportive team committed to delivering exceptional customer service and achieving strong sales results.

You'll be responsible for managing the sales journey from the initial enquiry right through to handing over the keys, ensuring every customer enjoys a seamless and memorable buying experience.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Building genuine relationships with customers and understanding their vehicle needs
• Proactively managing enquiries, leads and follow-up opportunities
• Presenting and demonstrating vehicles with confidence and professionalism
• Negotiating and closing sales while delivering an outstanding customer experience
• Working towards individual and team sales targets
• Maintaining strong relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals

This is a full-time position, with weekend work required on a rostered basis. We are currently trialing a five-day working week, with two rostered days off across a seven-day trading week.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, a competitive drive and a genuine passion for sales.

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

• Previous automotive sales experience, ideally in used vehicles
• A proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong desire to succeed
• Confidence using technology and customer management systems
• A professional appearance and a customer-first mindset
• A full, clean NZ driver's licence
• NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
