Great content shouldn’t just fill a feed. It should make people stop, pay attention and do something.

Silvereye Digital is growing, and we’re looking for a talented Digital Content Producer & Designer to help shape what comes next.

This is a hands-on creative role for someone who can take an idea from conversation to execution: developing content plans, coming up with concepts, designing great-looking assets, shooting and editing video, creating social content and finding smart ways to use AI in the creative process.

We’re not looking for someone who needs a perfectly formed brief before they can get started. We want someone who sees opportunities, brings ideas to the table, backs their creative judgement and makes things happen.

You’ll work across a varied portfolio of organisations and brands alongside the wider Silvereye team, with genuine ownership of the content you produce.

What you’ll do

You’ll help drive the day-to-day creative output for Silvereye Digital and our clients. You’ll:

  • Own and drive content calendars across multiple client accounts, working with account leads and the wider Silvereye team to decide what we should be talking about and when.

  • Help develop content strategies for clients, translating their objectives into practical content plans, calendars and creative ideas.

  • Develop original ideas and turn them into executable plans, rather than waiting for every detail to be briefed.

  • Produce high-quality digital content across video, graphic design, social media, websites and campaigns, from quick-turnaround social posts to polished client creative.

  • Shoot and edit short-form video, including Reels, TikToks and other platform-native content.

  • Design professional-quality digital and social assets independently.

  • Find interesting stories and opportunities within our clients’ organisations and turn them into content.

  • Spot relevant trends and know when they’re worth acting on.

  • Design, build and update website pages and content using platforms such as Wix.

  • Use AI intelligently across ideation, design, video and content production.

  • Manage multiple clients, content calendars and deadlines without losing attention to detail.

  • Bring a commercial mindset to the work, understanding what clients are trying to achieve and spotting where better, more frequent or different content could help.

You’ll also have good judgement about how much production a piece of content actually needs, knowing when to polish and when speed, relevance and authenticity matter more.

This isn’t a role where you’ll hand your ideas to someone else to make. Equally, it isn’t a role where you’ll sit waiting for someone else to tell you exactly what to make.

What we’re looking for

You’ll probably have around 3–5 years’ experience in content creation, digital design, social media, digital marketing or a related creative role.

More importantly, you’ll have a portfolio that shows us what you can do.

You might currently be a content creator, digital designer, social media specialist or digital marketer who has discovered that the creative side is where you do your best work.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • Strong creative initiative. You can work from an open brief, identify the opportunity and propose a way forward.

  • Good creative judgement. You’ll listen to other people’s ideas and feedback, but you’re also prepared to have a point of view and back it.

  • Strong graphic and digital design skills, with a portfolio demonstrating professional-quality work you’ve produced yourself.

  • Strong video shooting and editing capability.

  • An instinctive understanding of social platforms and what makes content engaging.

  • The ability to think beyond individual posts and build a coherent content calendar around a client’s objectives and audience.

  • Strong writing and copywriting skills.

  • Confidence working with clients, presenting ideas and explaining the thinking behind your recommendations.

  • Confidence moving between different brands, audiences and industries.

  • The organisation to keep several pieces of work moving at once.

You’ll also be an active and curious user of AI tools, with practical experience using them to improve creative ideation, design, video, content production or workflow. We’re interested in thoughtful use of AI, not simply familiarity with ChatGPT.

Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, CapCut or similar creative platforms, along with website CMS platforms such as Wix, would be useful. But we’re more interested in the quality of your work, your ideas and how you think than whether you tick every software box.

Working at Silvereye

This is an agency role, so variety is part of the job. On any given week, you may be working across several clients with completely different audiences, objectives and tones of voice.

Our approach is collaborative. Account leads, communications specialists and interns will all contribute ideas, context and feedback.

But collaboration doesn’t mean waiting for instructions.

We want you to be the person in the room saying, “I’ve got an idea for this”, and then make it happen.

You’ll be expected to understand what a client is trying to achieve, develop ideas, recommend what we should do and then take responsibility for turning those ideas into great content.

You’ll also have the opportunity to help shape Silvereye’s growing digital offering as it develops.

If you get excited about what’s possible when you bring together great ideas, design, video, social and AI, we’d love to hear from you.
