Established in 1999, Van Dyck Fine Foods Limited has become a market leader in hotplate baked, frozen thaw-back convenience foods.  

Van Dyck Fine Foods produce Marcel's Pancakes/Pikelets, Blinis/Minis and Crepes. We pride ourselves on the quality of our product, baked on European Hotplate equipment using traditional Belgium Recipes.  

Van Dyck Fine Foods is a business that is in significant growth, focused on export and NZ opportunities.  Owned by Oriens Capital who have extensive experience in food manufacturing and partner with high quality New Zealand businesses with equity investment.   

We are looking for an energetic and well presented person to join our sales team in the Wellington area. 

The current vacancy is for a part-time sales rep in the Auckland area with a focus on growing Grocery & Food Service customers, you will also cover the Northland areas bi-monthly.

Remuneration & Benefits

• Hourly rate: As above (depending on experience).

• Mileage reimbursement for business travel at IRD rates

• Mobile phone allowance/reimbursement for work use.

• Working hours up to 32.5 hours per week, within regular business hours but this could grow with your input. 
   

You’ll be responsible for increasing sales volume and ranging within your territory, working in partnership with your customers to grow their businesses and ours. 

 
To be successful in this role you will need to be an organised, pro-active individual demonstrating: 

FMCG Sales or Foodservice sales experience 

Strong Customer Focus 

Proven ability in building productive relationships 

Effective management of a call cycle, 

The ability to report on weekly activities 

A strong desire to exceed set KPIs.  

Ability to work independently as well as part of a larger team.

The successful applicant will hold a Safe In-store Food Handling Pass or be willing to get one and have a clean Full NZ driver’s license. Use of your own personal vehicle is a pre-requisite of this job.
