We have a great opportunity for a motivated Team Leader to join our Forecourt Team based at EastPack, Opotiki.

This position is fixed term for our 2027 season.

Reporting to the CA/Forecourt Manager, you will effectively supervise and direct forklift and documentation teams to safely achieve effective fruit reception, storage and transfer of fruit within best practice policy and procedures.

This role is key in supporting management to achieve the best results possible for growers and packhouse.

Successful candidates will need to have:

• The ability to effectively lead, organise and motivate a team to achieve results, especially during the harvest season.

• A strong awareness and knowledge of health and safety systems.

• Excellent people skills and the ability to communicate effectively within a diverse workforce.

• Good problem solving and time management skills.

• Ability to assist with technical issues and operating tasks such as forklift driving when necessary.

• Ability to make sound decisions when working under pressure.

• Understanding how to achieve quality/cost targets.

• Logistics/warehousing/refrigeration experience is preferred but not essential.
