About the role

Mountain River Processors is a privately owned Venison processing facility, situated between Rakaia and Leeston which opened in 1994. After an internal promotion we are looking for the right person to lead our Maintenance program in a hands on role.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance program

• Organize and manage the yearly shutdown during July or August when the main annual maintenance program takes place

• Coordinate with a group of preferred suppliers

• Liaise with Contractors, onsite MPI and the Supervisors in each department

• Problem solve any issues on site

About you

• Multi skilled person with some experience across a range of trades such as electrical, refrigeration and engineering

• Ability to work individually and problem solve

• Strong organizing skill set

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work as part of a small tight knit team
