Big cookie energy. Sharp on the details. Brilliant with customers.
At Cookie Time, we’re passionate about great cookies, bars and slices and the people who make it all happen. If you love making things happen, enjoy the satisfaction of getting the details right and bring a positive attitude to a busy day, this could be your next move!
A taste of the opportunity
Based in Henderson, Auckland, and reporting to our Food Service Channel Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting our Sales Team and helping to make Cookie Time an ease to do business with.
You’ll connect customers, Sales and Operations, keeping things on track from the first enquiry through to delivery and invoicing. You’ll anticipate what’s needed, spot opportunities and take ownership when something needs sorting.
Your role will be approximately 50% sales support including processing of customer orders, 35% sales operations and systems, and 15% office coordination, with customers and sales priorities at the heart of your day.
What you’ll get stuck into:
• Helping our Sales Team win: Bring customer plans to life through promotions, pricing, samples, product information and new customer onboarding. Spot gaps and opportunities that could lead to the next order.
• Keeping orders flowing: Process orders accurately, coordinate with Warehouse and Logistics, monitor stock and keep customers updated.
• Being sharp on the detail: Keep customer, product and pricing information accurate across our ERP and customer platforms, including claims, credits and EDI transactions.
• Sorting the curly stuff: When an order or supply issue crops up, bring the right people together, find a practical solution and see it through.
• Making good even better: Turn sales data into useful insights and suggest improvements that help us work smarter.
• Helping the office run smoothly: Coordinate everyday office needs and Team activities that contribute to a great working environment.
What’s in your mix
Ideally, you’ll bring five or more years’ experience in sales support, customer service or operational coordination. FMCG experience would be a bonus.
We’re looking for someone with:
• Strong ERP experience and familiarity with logistics or EDI systems.
• Advanced Excel skills and a good head for numbers.
• Excellent organisation and accuracy, even when several things need your attention.
• Clear, confident communication and the ability to build strong relationships.
• A practical understanding of how sales, stock, delivery and finance fit together.
You’ll fit right in if
You bring energy, initiative and a sense of humour. You’re the person who follows up, closes the loop and notices the small detail that could become a big problem.
You’re comfortable picking up the phone, asking questions and taking responsibility. You stay calm when plans change, care about doing a great job and back your Team.
You understand that every interaction shapes how customers feel about Cookie Time and you take pride in making it a good one.
