General Description:

The IT Systems (Linux) Network Administrator will support all software applications that drive operational efficiency and digital innovation across warehousing and logistics functions. Will work closely with other members of the IT department and stakeholders across the company to identify and address technology-related needs. This position reports to the Director of Information Technology. |
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Set up mobile devices, computers and servers for shareholders across the organization
- Support local and remote users
- Maintain/support network and server infrastructure
- Maintain/support of Laser and Label printers
- Hardware and software upgrade (servers, routers, wireless, workstations)
- Support the IT Director in delivering the broader IT strategy, including system modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the IT Director.
Qualifications
Skills Required:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required
• Network cabling is required. (Running CAT5, Terminating Jacks, etc.)
• Knowledge of Linux is mandatory
• Knowledge of Windows Server is required
• Knowledge of Hyper-V is a must
• Knowledge of basic Networking is required (vlan, switches, Wi-Fi, etc.)
• Experience working with Identity Management (user management) is required
• Ticket Management (working with JitBit on categorizing and addressing the tickets) is required
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 management
• Must have experience with vendor coordination
Physical Demands:
• Must have the ability to lift at least 0 pounds to a maximum of 40 pounds and perform repetitive standing, sitting, stooping, walking, stretching, reaching, and using full range of body motions.
• Must be able to be on a scissor lift that has a 36-40' minimum height
• Must be able to climb ladders to the roof which is up to 40' in height
• This is a fulltime, in-office position not a remote position
Language Skills:
• The IT Systems (Linux) Network Administrator must be fluent in English (written and verbal) to perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the position successfully. Spanish is a plus but not required.
Salary & Benefits:
• $25.00/hour - $30.00/hour based on relative experience
