Hartys Fishing & Hardware is looking for an EXPERIENCED, passionate team member to join us in Raglan, one of New Zealand’s most amazing seaside towns, renowned for its world-class fishing, surfing, and relaxed lifestyle.

Position: 35–40 hours per week (negotiable)
Start Date: Ideally November, or Maybe your just after a change for a summer gig, but you must have the skill set to ensure business continuity in our Fishing department in the owners absence over our busy season.

The ideal candidate will:

• MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH A REEL SPOOLING MACHINE.

• Be confident tying a wide range of fishing knots.

• Have extensive knowledge of game fishing, tackle, braid, mono, and fishing equipment.

• Enjoy sharing their knowledge and providing exceptional customer service.

• Take pride in presenting the store to a high standard by keeping it clean, tidy, and well organised.

• Be experienced with stock control, including stock rotation, and merchandising.

• Be reliable, enthusiastic, proactive, and a great team player.
