We are currently recruiting for one full‐time Application Developer within Technology Services and Solutions, FES CA.

About the Role:

The Application Developer will support technology initiatives for the Register of Voters (ROV) and the Facilities and Fleet (FAF) business operations.
Effectively supporting, maintaining, and enhancing IT applications used across these departments.
The Application Developer will collaborate closely with Business Systems Analysts and end users to understand business requirements and translate them into well‑designed technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Participating in the software development life cycle, including adhering to coding standards, conducting code reviews, managing source control, supporting build processes, performing testing, and maintaining operational readiness.
Overseeing the application life cycle: designing, coding, testing, implementing, and supporting application software. This includes developing new programs as well as performing upgrades, maintenance, and issue resolution for existing systems.
Facilitating the resolution of technical issues by working directly with customers, vendors, and technical teams to identify and evaluate potential solutions.
