About the role

In this hands on role, you will assist with the installation, commissioning, servicing, repair, and maintenance of misting systems and equipment. You'll work alongside an experienced technician, learn specialised skills, and contribute to delivering high quality workmanship and excellent customer service. You will work both independently and within a small, supportive team, liaising with clients and contractors, and occasionally travelling to regional and interstate sites.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with installations, repairs, maintenance, and system assembly.

• Support troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and equipment testing.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness.

• Pack parts and systems for installation or dispatch.

• Provide basic customer guidance on system operation.

• Uphold WHS standards and contribute to a safe work environment.

• Assist with stock accountability and monitoring inventory levels.

About you

• Practical mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

• Experience using hand and power tools.

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and within a team.

• Professional communication and customer service skills.

• Current driver's licence (required).

• Current National Police Clearance.

• White Card.

• Working at Heights, EWP and Confined Space Certificates (advantageous).
