About the role
This is a hands-on role working in precast concrete manufacturing, where quality workmanship, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential.
Key responsibilities
Set up and prepare precast concrete moulds from plans and drawings
Install reinforcing steel cages and cast-in components
Pour, finish and monitor concrete to required standards
Prepare and clean casting decks and formwork
Remove finished products from moulds once cured
Inspect, clean and prepare products for lifting and storage
Support concrete pours, vibrating, screeding, and finishing
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Assist with other duties across the Invercargill site when required by the Production Manager
Follow all Health & Safety procedures and wear correct PPE at all times
About you
Experience in precast concrete, formwork carpentry, or concrete work
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Physically fit and capable of hands-on work
Reliable, motivated, and a team player
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and clean criminal history
