Be Wildeye’s first dedicated marketer, with hands-on ownership of our content and campaigns across three international markets.

Our existing team has developed marketing materials alongside their other responsibilities. We’re now creating a dedicated role to build on that foundation, produce more content and campaigns, and further improve how we present Wildeye across our markets.

You’ll work closely with management, technical specialists and regional sales teams, taking new ideas through to completion. This is a role for someone who enjoys creating as much as planning.

About Wildeye

Wildeye develops remote monitoring technology for the irrigation, agriculture, utility and geotechnical sectors.

Our hardware connects to meters and sensors on farms, water networks and project sites, sending readings to our online platform. Customers use that information to track water use, groundwater, soil moisture and environmental conditions, helping them make informed decisions without visiting every site.

We operate across New Zealand, Australia and the USA, working with customers, partners and distributors. This role is based in our Mount Eden, Auckland office.

The opportunity

You’ll own day-to-day marketing delivery: planning campaigns, writing copy, designing materials, updating website content and creating basic video.

Management will provide strategic direction, while our technical and regional teams contribute product knowledge and market insight. You’ll take that broad input, develop the message and produce the finished work.

Priorities and workload will be agreed with management, starting with a regular rhythm of content and campaigns. You’ll also develop processes, templates and an asset library to help marketing run efficiently, and recommend and introduce tools that improve how we plan, create and measure our work.

What you’ll do

  • Plan and deliver a marketing calendar covering campaigns, product launches and industry events.

  • Write and design content for our website, email, social media, presentations and sales collateral.

  • Develop customer stories, case studies and application-focused product content, including basic video.

  • Equip regional teams, partners and distributors with current marketing materials.

  • Plan Wildeye’s trade event presence, including themes, bookings and materials, for local teams to deliver on the day.

  • Maintain our brand identity, tone of voice and professional presentation across markets.

  • Track campaign performance and use the results to improve future activity.

What you’ll bring

You’ll have several years of hands-on marketing experience, ideally in a B2B environment, and be comfortable taking work from initial idea to delivery.

We’re looking for:

  • Strong writing and design skills, supported by a portfolio of completed work.

  • The ability to turn commercial and technical input into engaging, accessible content.

  • An understanding of how B2B marketing builds credibility and supports longer sales cycles.

  • Curiosity about our products, customers and industries, with the confidence to ask good questions.

  • Sound judgement on messaging, audience, channel and timing.

  • Strong organisation and the initiative to manage agreed priorities independently.

Why join Wildeye?

You’ll have the freedom to bring ideas, shape our marketing approach and make a visible contribution. You’ll work directly with people who develop and sell the technology, creating content around real products, customers and applications across four sectors and three markets.

Apply with your CV, and describe examples of content and campaigns you’ve delivered within your cover letter. Please tell us what you personally contributed.
