We’re working with an established organisation looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead their finance team and take ownership of a broad finance function.
Reporting to the CFO and leading a team of five, this is a hands-on leadership role spanning both management and financial accounting. You’ll oversee reporting, budgeting and forecasting, financial modelling and accounting operations, while partnering closely with senior leaders across the organisation.

The role will see you:
- Lead, coach and develop a team of finance professionals
- Oversee monthly financial and management reporting
- Coordinate annual budgets and quarterly forecasting
- Deliver financial modelling, scenario analysis and business case support
- Oversee accounting operations including AP, AR, banking and reconciliations
- Ensure strong financial controls, policies and compliance processes are maintained
- Partner with senior leaders, providing financial insight and advice
- Manage and improve finance systems and processes
- Drive continuous improvement across the finance function
- Manage key external relationships, including auditors and other providers
About you
We’re looking for someone who brings a good mix of technical finance capability, leadership experience and stakeholder management.

- A relevant accounting, finance or commerce qualification
- 5+ years’ experience across financial and management accounting
- Previous experience leading and developing a finance team
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and business planning experience
- Financial modelling and analytical capability
- Experience across accounting operations and financial systems
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A practical, solutions-focused approach
- An interest in improving systems, processes and ways of working
