Key Responsibilities

·        Install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.

·        Monitor network performance and ensure maximum uptime and availability.

·        Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and resolve hardware, software, and network-related problems.

·        Maintain network security, access controls, and firewall configurations.

·        Manage IP addressing, VLANs, VPNs, and network documentation.

·        Coordinate with IT teams and external vendors for network maintenance and issue resolution.

·        Support connectivity for hospital systems, including servers, workstations, printers, and other connected devices.

·        Perform regular network backups, updates, and preventive maintenance as required.

·        Identify potential network risks and implement appropriate corrective measures.

·        Maintain records of network configurations, incidents, and maintenance activities.

·        Fully supporting, configuring, maintaining and upgrading organization networks, communication infrastructure and in house servers

·        Installing and integrating new server hardware and applications

·        Keeping an eye out for needed updates

·        Support and administer third-party applications

·        Ensure network security and connectivity

·        Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput and latency) and test for weaknesses

·        Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords

·        Resolve problems reported by end user

·        Define daily, weekly & monthly checklists, network policies and procedures

·        Specify system requirements and design solutions

·        Research and make recommendations on servers & networks

·        Schedule preventive maintenance activities throughout the year periodically and on need basis

·        Whatever Job will be assigned by Manager and HOD
