About the Role
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will work closely with business leaders and end users to identify opportunities for improvement, gather and translate requirements, deliver software solutions, develop insightful reporting, and support critical business applications. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact by improving processes, enhancing system performance, and supporting the delivery of innovative digital and AI-enabled solutions across the business.
This is a varied and hands-on role that combines business analysis, systems support, solution delivery, data analytics, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end software and business systems projects from requirements through to implementation
- Engage with stakeholders to identify, document, and validate business requirements
- Develop and maintain Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
- Design and build dashboards and reports that provide actionable business insights
- Lead testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and integration testing
- Conduct root cause analysis and resolve system and application issues
- Maintain technical documentation, solution guides, and data dictionaries
- Administer and maintain SharePoint environments and user permissions
- Develop training materials and provide user training and support
- Support the adoption and implementation of AI-driven business solutions
- Promote a strong health, safety, and compliance culture throughout all activities
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Technical Business Analyst or similar role.
- Proven experience gathering requirements and delivering business systems improvements.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Experience with system integrations, APIs, and software solution delivery.
- Strong working knowledge of Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Intermediate to advanced SQL skills, including data extraction and analysis.
- Ability to create complex reports, dashboards, and visualisations.
- Knowledge of system architecture, data modelling, and data governance principles.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
