Traffic Management NZ, part of the Altus Group, is a leading provider of temporary traffic management services across New Zealand. ,We are continuing to grow and are seeking experienced TTM, TMO and STMS personnel to join our teams in Christchurch.

TTM and TMO Positions
As a TTM or TMO, you will play an important role in ensuring the safety of road users, pedestrians, contractors and your fellow team members. Your responsibilities include but not limited to :
Setting up and maintaining traffic management sites, directing and controlling traffic, following approved traffic management plans, assisting with site set-up and pack-down, maintaining traffic management equipment and supporting the wider site team.
You will be expected to work safely, follow site procedures and instructions, communicate effectively with your team and maintain a high standard of professionalism at all times.
STMS Positions
We are also seeking experienced STMS personnel who can take responsibility for the safe and effective delivery of traffic management operations. As an STMS, your responsibilities include but not limited to:
Implementing and monitoring approved traffic management plans, leading and supervising traffic management crews, managing site safety, completing hazard assessments and safety documentation, monitoring traffic conditions and ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with the required standards and procedures.
About You
- We are looking for people who have a strong commitment to health and safety and take pride in delivering quality work.
- Depending on the position, you will ideally have a current TTM, TMO or STMS qualification and relevant industry experience.
- STMS applicants must hold a current STMS qualification.
- A full New Zealand driver's licence is required
- You must be physically fit, comfortable working outdoors in a range of weather conditions and able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and call-outs when required.
- Successful applicants will be required to pass drug and alcohol screening.
