The Opportunity
Working closely with the Partners, you'll take ownership of a diverse client portfolio while providing proactive accounting and business advice.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing and developing strong relationships with business clients.
Preparing financial statements, income tax returns and other taxation compliance requirements.
Preparing management reports, budgets and cash flow forecasts.
Analysing financial performance and providing practical commercial advice.
Working directly with business owners to understand their challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
Translating financial information into meaningful insights that help clients make informed business decisions.
Collaborating with Partners on advisory assignments and supporting junior team members.

About You
You'll be an experienced Senior Accountant with strong technical skills, a commercial mindset and a genuine interest in helping clients succeed.
Ideally, you'll have:
At least 3 years' Business Advisory Services experience within a New Zealand Chartered Accounting firm.
Strong accounting and taxation knowledge.
Experience managing client relationships and jobs from start to finish.
Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage directly with business owners.
