The Role

Good delivery means consultants know their priorities, clients know what happens next, and someone sees the pressure points before they become problems.

At Brighter Days, that someone will be you. Based in Christchurch, you’ll coordinate Microsoft 365 digital workplace projects and ongoing client work, connecting the Client Lead, Practice Lead and consultants to turn agreed commitments into practical delivery plans.

Your work will span smaller client requests with one specialist through to larger projects involving a team of consultants. You’ll review team capacity as well as project timelines, budgets and scope, making sure the right people are working on the right things. As your experience grows, there’s scope to take on more complex, multi-phase projects and lead client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Turn client commitments into clear plans, milestones and consultant assignments.

  • Coordinate resources across clients, anticipating capacity gaps and adjusting priorities with the Practice Lead.

  • Keep clients and colleagues informed through clear updates, reporting and follow-through.

  • Track timelines, budgets and scope, raising risks early and helping resolve delivery issues.

  • Maintain visibility of ongoing client work, including retainer hours, agreed roadmaps and next steps.

  • Improve the plans, templates and reporting processes that help the team deliver consistently.

What We Are Looking For

You might bring experience in technology service delivery, IT project management or coordinating client work within a consultancy. You enjoy bringing order to moving parts, building relationships and finding a practical way forward when plans change.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience coordinating multiple projects, clients or workstreams in a technology or professional services environment.

  • An understanding of technology concepts and working familiarity with Microsoft 365.

  • Practical skills in planning, resource coordination, budget tracking and delivery reporting.

  • Clear communication and the confidence to discuss priorities, flag concerns and reset expectations constructively, both with customers and within the practice.

  • Strong attention to detail, reliable follow-through and a willingness to get hands-on with coordination and reporting.

  • Curiosity, sound judgement and the ability to consider different ways to achieve an outcome.

  • A sense of fun mixed with focus on delivering exceptional client outcomes.

Your technical understanding will help you work effectively alongside specialist consultants. Your contribution is making their delivery coordinated, visible and dependable.
