ARMStaffing is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist, Outpatient in Napa, California.

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
Day Shift: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts from 08:00 to 16:30. One weekend day required per week.
Job Description
The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide acute care services to adult and geriatric patients, focusing on areas such as dysphagia, stroke rehabilitation, and cognitive assessments. The clinician will document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes using the Community charting system. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for speech and swallowing disorders.
- Create and execute individualized treatment plans.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis and treatment strategies.
- Document therapy sessions accurately in the Community charting system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Participate in discharge planning and recommendations.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of outpatient experience required.
- Travel experience required.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current California state license must be in hand at submission.
- Pending licenses are accepted.
- Certification in BLS is required.
