About the Role
As Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring the safe, efficient and timely movement of goods.
You will lead and support the warehouse team, coordinate daily activities, maintain inventory accuracy and ensure orders are picked, packed and dispatched to meet customer expectations.
This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with the team and wider business to keep operations running efficiently, while identifying opportunities to improve processes and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, support and coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse team.
Allocate workloads and priorities to ensure orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.
Oversee inbound and outbound warehouse operations, including receiving and processing stock.
Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate stocktakes and cycle counts.
Investigate stock discrepancies and support effective inventory management.
Maintain a safe, organised and efficient warehouse environment.
Promote a strong health and safety culture and ensure compliance with company procedures.
Provide training, guidance and feedback to team members.
Support customers and internal stakeholders with product availability and delivery requirements.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and operational processes.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and confident leading a team in a busy warehouse environment.
You will ideally bring:
Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.
Experience supervising, coordinating or leading a team.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
A focus on accuracy, efficiency and delivering great customer service.
A practical approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
A strong commitment to health and safety.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across the business.
Experience with inventory or warehouse management systems.
Experience within the HVAC/R, engineering or technical distribution industry would be an advantage, but is not essential.
