About the role
The Homegrown Juice Company Ltd is New Zealand's leading fresh juice brand, and due to national and international demand leading to production expansion, we're looking for an experienced and reliable Blow Moulding (Plastic Bottle – Making) Operator/Technician to join our production team in Mahora, Hastings.
Key responsibilities
Operate PET blow moulding and/or injection moulding machinery
Perform machine start-up and shut-down procedures
Identify and resolve faults / production issues with troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Monitor product quality and process parameters
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Work collaboratively with the production and maintenance teams
Communicate issues in a timely manner to ensure minimal downtime
Continuous improvement (Lean Manufacturing) in process flow
About you
Minimum of 2 years' experience in PET blow moulding and/or injection moulding
Confident in operating PET blow moulding and/or injection moulding machinery and carrying out troubleshooting
Minimum of 2 years food manufacturing experience
Comfortable working shifts and weekends, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
Mechanically minded with good attention to detail
Reliable, safety-conscious, and a team player. Can also work independently when required
Willingness to learn operator machine maintenance, and carry this out to the schedule date
