THE SENIOR AI ENGINEER ROLE

You'll be responsible for designing, developing and optimising production-grade AI solutions, with a focus on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Large Language Models and agentic workflows.
Working alongside AI Platform Engineers and wider technical teams, you'll develop RAG pipelines, improve retrieval strategies, implement model fine-tuning techniques and establish evaluation frameworks to ensure AI solutions are accurate, scalable and reliable.
You'll also contribute to technical decisions, code reviews and mentoring other engineers.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Strong Python programming skills
Commercial experience with Generative AI, LLMs and RAG
Experience building agentic AI systems and workflows
Knowledge of prompt engineering, fine-tuning and model optimisation
Experience developing and deploying production-grade AI/ML solutions
Understanding of AI evaluation and experimentation techniques
Strong software engineering fundamentals and technical leadership experience
Azure AI Foundry, Graph-RAG or Microsoft Agent Framework experience advantageous
