We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Groundsperson / Labourer to join the grounds maintenance team at one of our Central Auckland schools. This hands-on role involves maintaining the school’s grounds, gardens, and outdoor areas, ensuring a safe, tidy, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.  Our easy-to-follow school maintenance system will give you the confidence and ability to settle into this role with ease.

Key Responsibilities:

* Tidying and maintaining gardens, lawns and trees

* Tractor, ride-on or push-mowing and line trimming

* Hard surface blowing and leaf collection

* Sports field maintenance and line-marking

* Artificial turf maintenance

* Rubbish collection and basic waste/recycling management

What We're Looking For:

* Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude

* An interest in turf management/gardening

* Comfortable working independently or as part of a small team

* Good communication skills and attention to detail

* Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor manual work

* Happy to work in all weather conditions

* Must be able to pass a NZ Police vetting check

* Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand
