About the role

MedScreen is a nationwide health screening company that provides health assessments, insurance medicals and corporate health services.

We are currently looking for Phlebotomists to join our team to complete blood tests for clients in their homes or work places in the wider Auckland Region.

Our Phlebotomists work on a part time contract basis and enjoy the flexibility and benefits of fitting our work in around their schedules. We provide training and support as well as a Medical Kit with supplies and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Complete blood tests for clients in their homes or work places in the wider Auckland Region

About you

• Excellent phlebotomy skills with current NZ experience

• At least 2 years experience working as a NZ Phlebotomist

• Registration with the Medical Sciences Council and a current Annual Practising Certificate as a Medical Laboratory Pre-Analytical Technician in Patient Services

• Current New Zealand work visa

• Current CPR Certificate

• Competent computer skills

• Access to a computer and a scanner/printer

• Exceptional attention to detail and process

• A friendly, professional and courteous attitude with a focus on providing exceptional customer service

• Reliable vehicle and current, full and valid NZ drivers license

• Ability to drive up to an hour (if necessary) to complete a job

• Weekly availability - preferably at least 2 mornings per week
