About the Role
It is an exciting time to join! We are building something from scratch, and we need a hands-on Project Construction Engineer to help make it happen. This is a brand new EPCM project, which means you’ll be there from the early stages and see the work take shape on the ground.
Working side by side with the Project Manager and Construction Manager, you’ll be the person who keeps things moving: fielding technical queries, connecting the dots between site, design, procurement and the client, and making sure what gets built matches what was designed.

What you’ll be doing
- Supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of civil and concrete construction scopes, from early works through to closeout
- Facilitating technical queries and RFIs, and driving them to resolution quickly so site never gets held up
- Acting as the key point of contact between engineering, procurement, construction and client teams
- Liaising directly with Managers and the client, keeping everyone aligned on progress, risks and decisions
- Getting out on site to carry out inspections, review civil and concrete works against drawings and specs, and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Developing scopes, schedules, budgets and technical documentation
- Monitoring progress and preparing clear, regular reporting on status, challenges and key metrics
- Supporting procurement, including vendor and subcontractor selection, material submittals and RFIs
- Managing change orders, project documentation and closeout
- Upholding engineering standards, safety requirements and contractual obligations
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil preferred)
- 6-8 years experience in Project and Construction Engineering, ideally with experience across civil and concrete construction works
- Strong technical acumen, with confidence reading and interpreting drawings, plans and specifications
- A proactive, hands-on approach: you do the legwork and follow things through
- Confident communicator who is comfortable liaising with Managers and clients
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
