About the role
We are currently seeking Patrol Officers to provide security services and mobile patrol runs in response and scheduled activity required by clients including but not limited to, Commercial clients, Noise and Animal Control compliance, Parking and Freedom camping enforcement, to the highest professional standards adhering to all operational procedures and organisational policy. This role includes foot patrols - up to an hour of walking through the CBD's, applicants need to be comfortable walking for extended periods.
Key responsibilities
Complete patrol actions and services to the requirements of clients maintaining attention to details and diligence.
Proactively report activities and incidents.
Record relevant information to a high standard.
Comply with operating procedures.
Deliver the highest level of professional security standards.
Operate company motor vehicles safely and in full compliance of the law.
Operation of electronic alarm and access control systems to ensure the security of client facilities is always maintained.
Ensure professional communication standards with internal and external stakeholders.
Undertake specialist security functions and activity that may be required from time to time inclusive of noise control, static guarding functions, compliance monitoring and escorts.
Maintain confidentiality around all company and client information.
About you
Security Qualifications NZQA level 3 National Certificate in Security.
Unit standards 27364, 27360 and 27361.
Vetting clearance.
Previous experience in a similar regulatory orientated, customer service or service orientated role.
Reporting skills.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Diligence and reliability to the highest professional standards.
Competent report writing and attention to detail.
Ability to work without direct supervision and work alone.
