About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Finance Manager to join a growing organisation based in Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified finance professional to play a key role in financial leadership, business partnering, and strategic decision-making.
Reporting to senior leadership, you will lead the finance function, provide insightful analysis, and ensure robust financial controls while supporting the organisation's continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the finance team, providing coaching and support.
Oversee month-end and year-end processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Prepare management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
Deliver meaningful financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
Partner with operational and senior stakeholders across the organisation.
Maintain strong financial controls, governance, and compliance procedures.
Support annual audits and statutory reporting requirements.
Drive process improvements and efficiencies across finance operations.
Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, identifying risks and opportunities.
Support strategic projects, business cases, and commercial decision-making.

About You
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Proven experience in a senior finance position, ideally within a complex or growing organisation.
Strong management accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting expertise.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Commercially aware with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
Strong systems skills, including advanced Excel capabilities.
Experience managing and developing finance teams.
