  • Reconcile customer accounts and research invoices, deposits, credits, duplicate charges, unapplied cash, and payment-allocation issues.
  • Conduct professional collection outreach by phone and email; document communications, disputes, commitments, and follow-up activity in NetSuite.
  • Resolve disputes involving deliveries, installations, service, kitchen projects, financing, chargebacks, contractor billing, and payment delays.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to obtain documentation and drive timely account resolution.
  • Prepare support for approved adjustments, refunds, write-offs, bad-debt exposure, and external collection referrals.
  • Analyze aging and transaction data to identify recurring AR errors, control gaps, and workflow improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with IT and Accounting on NetSuite exceptions, reporting, testing, and process enhancements.
  • Provide weekly collection results, aging analysis, dispute status, and action plans; support month-end reconciliations and deadlines.
Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounts receivable, collections, reconciliation, or related accounting work.
  • Experience with both consumer and commercial receivables, including aging, invoices, credit memos, and deposits.
  • Proven ability to independently investigate and resolve complex account discrepancies.
  • Strong Excel and ERP skills, with excellent written/verbal communication and professional customer-service abilities.
  • Strong prioritization, documentation, analytical judgment, and confidentiality.
Preferred: NetSuite experience; background in retail, appliances, kitchen remodeling, construction, builder, or contractor receivables; familiarity with financing, chargebacks, and AR workflow automation.
