Mahi ka Whai Ake | What You'll Be Doing
- Serving food, beverages, and café-style offerings to visitors
- Providing friendly, welcoming customer service
- Handling bookings, enquiries, and POS transactions
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Supporting retail sales, merchandising, and stock control
- Assisting with food prep, dishwashing, deliveries, and general housekeeping
- Working collaboratively to ensure smooth daily operations
- Promoting sustainability initiatives and Ngāi Tahu values
Ko Wai Koe? | What We're Looking For
- Previous hospitality, café, restaurant, retail, or customer service experience
- Confident using POS systems and handling payments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Organised, reliable, and able to work in a busy environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Commitment to health, safety, and high standards
- Interest in learning about Ngāi Tahu culture, values, and te reo Māori
He Mea Pai Kia Whai | Desirable Skills
- Barista experience
- Duty Manager Certificate
- Retail sales experience
