Over those 30 years, Fully Equipped has been designing and manufacturing the iconic Crown Canopy. Every Crown is made locally, for our roads, job sites, beaches and batches. Where your Ute becomes more than a work horse but a part of your lifestyle. Combining time-honoured craftsmanship with ongoing innovation, Fully Equipped will continue to evolve while always providing reliability and longevity.

What they don’t manufacture, they partner with world-leading brands to supply one of the most extensive ranges of vehicle accessories to New Zealand.

About the role

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day operation of the Wellington branch, ensuring customers receive a professional and consistent experience from initial enquiry through to vehicle handover.

The Wellington branch is responsible for sales across the lower North Island, including the Wairarapa and Manawatū. This is an important part of the role, generating the work that supports the branch’s service and installation activity. You’ll build strong customer and trade relationships, follow up opportunities and help grow Fully Equipped’s presence across the region.

Working within a close-knit team of four, you’ll also be actively involved in quoting, customer service, bookings, job coordination, and supporting the fitting team. This is a practical role for someone who can balance sales, service, people, and operational priorities.

What you’ll be responsible for

·         Managing enquiries, quotations and customer follow-up

·         Identifying suitable product, service and repeat-business opportunities

·         Coordinating parts, vehicle bookings and installation schedules

·         Supporting the fitting team and monitoring job progress

·         Overseeing the showroom and front-of-house experience

·         Building relationships with customers, trade partners and suppliers

·         Setting daily priorities and supporting the branch team

·         Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and customer care

About you

You’ll be a practical and approachable leader who enjoys working closely with customers and supporting a small team. You’re organised, commercially aware, and willing to step into the detail to keep things moving.

You’ll bring:

·         Experience in branch operations, service coordination, customer service or sales

·         Strong relationship-building and communication skills

·         Confidence preparing quotes and following opportunities through

·         Commercial awareness across pricing, margin and customer outcomes

·         Strong organisation, accuracy and follow-through

·         Experience within automotive, mechanical, manufacturing, trades or a technical environment

·         The ability to guide a small team and manage changing priorities

·         Confidence using invoicing, CRM, ERP or job-management systems

·         A hands-on approach and commitment to quality and safety
