We’re looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team at the Bealey Ave Practice of Team Dental, as we’re replacing a valued team member who is moving on. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-organised, supportive team in a practice that truly cares about its staff and patients.
As a Dental Assistant, your role will involve providing chairside clinical assistance to the dentist during dental procedures. You’ll be responsible for creating a safe and efficient environment, ensuring our patients have a positive experience, and managing dental surgery equipment and stock.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
Maintain and sterilise dental instruments and equipment in line with infection control standards.
Support the dentist and Practice Manager in creating a comfortable, positive environment for our patients.
Manage and maintain dental surgery equipment and stock levels.
About You:
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred.
You’re a motivated, friendly professional who works well in a team.
Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills.
Passionate about delivering great patient care in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Position Details:
Part-time with potential for Full-time (24 hours per week to 32 hours per week).
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with 1 late night every 2 weeks (10:45 to 7:15 shift on Tuesdays) every fortnight
Based at our Bealey Ave Practice, centrally located in Christchurch.
