We’re looking for a Fixed-Term Delivery Driver to join our team at our Mt Roskill bakery, starting ASAP through to Friday 18 December 2026. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, from 6:00am sharp until around 8:30am. Finish times can vary a little depending on traffic and the day’s run. You’ll drive our delivery vehicle (a station wagon), which starts and finishes each shift at the bakery.
This role covers one of our team members during annual leave, then gives us extra support through our busiest time of year, the pre-Christmas peak, before our annual Christmas/New Year shutdown. It’s ideal for a student, or anyone looking for some extra work over the next couple of months. You’ll be finished by mid-morning, with the rest of your day free.
You’ll deliver our baked and frozen pretzels to supermarkets and premium food stores across Auckland. That means loading up at the bakery, following your delivery run, dropping off orders and making sure every store gets exactly what they ordered, on time.
It’s practical, physical work. You’ll be in and out of the car throughout the shift, lifting and carrying boxes, and working to a set schedule each morning. Full training on our runs and processes is provided. We’re most interested in finding someone who’s reliable, organised, professional and happy to be a friendly face of Bloom’s out on the road.
Key responsibilities
Loading the delivery vehicle accurately and promptly at the start of each run
Completing delivery runs across Auckland on time, every time
Picking up ingredients and supplies for the bakery when needed
Lifting and carrying boxes of baked and frozen pretzels, and hardly product carefully.
Communicating with store staff on delivery & returning proof of delivery and any notes back to the bakery
Keeping the vehicle clean, tidy and safe
About you
We’re looking for someone who is:
Punctual and reliable, with no trouble with early starts and some flexibility on finish times
Available Monday to Friday through to 18 December
The holder of a full, clean NZ driver licence
Confident driving around Auckland, with a good sense of direction
Physically able to lift and carry boxes throughout the shift
Organised and accurate with orders and paperwork
Friendly and professional with store staff
Someone who takes pride in doing a job properly and pitching in where needed
