What you'll be doing:
Unloading deliveries and putting stock away correctly
Assisting trade customers with product selections and orders
Cutting timber and other materials to customer requirements
Loading customer vehicles safely and efficiently
Picking, packing, and assembling orders for dispatch
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe yard and store environment
Processing sales documentation and maintaining accurate records
About You:
This role would suit someone who:
Enjoys physical work and staying active throughout the day
Is fit and capable of lifting heavy or awkward items safely
Knowledge of building materials or the construction industry helpful but not essential
Has a positive, customer-focused attitude
Communicates confidently with customers and colleagues
Is reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
Requirements:
Full NZ driver's licence and own reliable transport - Essential
Forklift F endorsement and OSH certificate - Essential for this to be current
Need to be available to start immediately
Strong work ethic and proven reliability
This role is situated in Southern suburbs, near Wellington airport
