Position Description:
Join the Product Management team responsible for the development of a modern HR & Payroll Platform and Employee Portal. We are looking for a Business Analyst who will help design and develop functionalities supporting HR, payroll, and employee and manager self service processes.
The role can be based in Kraków or at one of CGI’s offices in Poland.
Job responsibilities:
• Analyze and document business requirements for HR, Payroll, and Employee Portal systems.
• Collaborate with business experts, customers, and development teams to define new functionalities.
• Model and optimize HR and Payroll business processes.
• Create functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze the impact of changes on existing processes, data, and system integrations.
• Participate in designing solutions aligned with a microservices architecture.
• Support the team in analyzing data models and dependencies between system components.
• Collaborate with Product Managers on product roadmap planning and prioritization.
• Ensure high usability and intuitiveness of functionalities delivered to end users.
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and the deployment of new functionalities.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Experience in business analysis of IT systems.
• Very good knowledge of Human Resources (HR) processes.
• Practical knowledge of Payroll processes.
• Ability to gather, analyze, and manage business requirements.
• Experience in business process modeling.
• Ability to analyze and model business data.
• Ability to independently facilitate workshops and align requirements with stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with development and testing teams.
Nice to Have:
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Experience in analyzing integrations between systems.
• Understanding of User Experience (UX) design principles.
• Experience in a Product Management environment or working with a product backlog.
• Knowledge of HR, Payroll, Employee Self Service (ESS), or Manager Self Service (MSS) systems.
• English language skills allowing effective communication in an international work environment.
• A university degree in one of the following fields is preferred: Human Resources, Information Technology, Economics, Management or a related field.
