Job Description: Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a Truck Driver/Production assistant to join our Cromwell team at our new purpose-built facility. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the manufacturing of flashings and operating Roll-forming machinery. You will also be responsible for assisting with deliveries around Central Otago including loading and unloading trucks, picking and packing orders, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. A Class 4 and forklift license is required.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the deliveries of roofing material, folding of flashings and operating roll-forming machinery
Load and unload trucks
Inwards goods
Pick and pack orders
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
Work effectively as part of a team
Requirements:
Must have excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to read and follow work instructions
Physically fit and able
Strong attention to detail
Reliable and punctual
Class 4 License
Forklift license
Previous experience with a Hiab and Overhead gantry crane would be an advantage
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
A willingness to put in some hard graft.
